Hi, my name is Leah and I currently live in Cincinnati, OH with my husband, Steven. We were married just last year on September 22. However, we have been together for over 6 years. We met our Junior year at Miami University and pretty much knew we were in it for the long haul. After we graduated, Steven got a job in Chicago and we moved there for nearly 2 years. We loved the convenience of the city and really liked the life style. It was so different than what either one of us was used to. But, I missed home (Cincinnati) and struggled to find a job in publishing while we were in Chicago. Through some networking, I landed a job back home at Cengage Learning and work there to this day.

One thing I learned while living in Chicago was that I have a serious passion for food. I engrossed myself with Food Network shows, food magazines, books...anything I could learn about the food world, I was there. I've continued to fuel my passion for cooking over the past few years and I've learned SO much. Friends and family love to come and eat at our home because I'm always making something new and different. Granted, very few of the recipes are mine. So, here I am, starting this blog. I'm hoping to expand my own recipe collection, gather beloved family recipes, and find the courage to experiment with foods of all kinds. Come join me.
